About Adam Loughran
Adam Loughran is an Irish photographer, writer, aspiring actor, and filmmaker raised in the east of Ireland. In May 2019, he worked as an extra in a feature film and was hooked on film from then. He always liked performing even at a young age, he was an Irish dancer from when he was 4 and built up an array of medals and trophies, he eventually quit when he was 12. At age 14, he wrote the pilot to a show called Karma and hopes to continue developing the idea and world of Karma and produce it when he graduates film school. He started writing as a way of expression and eventually wrote the chapter of his first published story "Bad World".
"Bad World is a first-person novel written like a diary by Erin in the year 1992. Erin goes through life-changing events, ruthless creatures roam the earth."
He started doing digital photography, and later got a Minolta XD 5 35mm film camera and was obsessed with film from there. He still shoots digital but would much prefer film;
"Film is just something you can't replicate with digital, film is natural and grainy and not perfect, as with digital everything is pixel perfect. Film is beautiful and something you can't recreate."

Adam has a YouTube channel Ready Aim Shoot, where he posts short films and posts his process on coming up with an idea and developing that idea into a plot, then a script, then a film. He is currently working on a short called Fireflies, which follows Kai and Tee through a post-apocalyptic world riddled with infected creatures. A scene he posted can be viewed here
